What an AI readiness assessment should actually tell you

A useful AI readiness assessment tells you three things: where AI is already being used in your company and what data it touches, which use cases will genuinely pay, and what has to be true before you start. A maturity score alone changes nothing.

Plenty of AI readiness assessments now exist, and many are generated by the same platforms, wearing different logos. The tell is the output: if you get a score and a generic roadmap, someone is warming you up for a platform sale.
